5 May 2014 - Kathmandu to Chitwan
On 5th we group of 10 and little Nihaarika aged 1year 8 months left Kathmandu to Chitwan National park, due to unexpected rains previous night, on the way there was a land slide which lead to massive traffic pile up up to 18 kms, we were struck for more than 6 hrs in traffic jam. The lesson is be prepared for nature’s surprises, as a result your itinerary get derailed and may miss couple of things to see. However despite all inconvenience, Mr. Ravi and his team took care of our journey, stay and further itinerary very well. Overnight stay in Chitwan was comfortable in a river side Hermitage Resort. People in above places are courteous and hospitable. We enjoyed Tharu Cultural Programme in the evening.
